Today marks Day Three of the Training of Trainers for the Induction of Local Government Councils, currently taking place at Hotel Brovad in Masaka, organised by the Ministry of Local Government.
The training aims to equip trainers with the knowledge, skills and instructional materials needed to effectively deliver a standardised induction for newly elected Local Government leaders, covering governance, legal frameworks and their operational mandates.
At the end of the five-day training, the facilitators will also be assessed to determine their understanding and readiness to roll out the induction programme.
